puente means bridge to

feeling refreshed after a five-day holiday in barcelona. new flat, new comforts, new sights and new sounds. photos are from a day trip to vic for a medieval festival, an hour and a half north toward the pyrenees mountains, as well as an afternoon with cafe amb llet after a long hunt for the right place. spent the rest of the weekend with good friends and further settling into life here. pubs, markets, dinners, l’auberge espagnol, quatre gats, building building building. holiday lights are up, caga tios have infested the streets, mulled wine and castanas por todos los lados. i fly home to the states in 10 days — where does the time go?
